I am now a full time language teacher. I have 7 years teaching experience on Cantonese and I have taught Mandarin in Hong Kong's primary In A-level examination, I got B grade in Chinese which was conducted in Cantonese. I understand the struggle of mastering Cantonese in Western society as English is my strongest language. This gives me a unique perspective as a teacher and translator. As an active learner of several languages, I can understand many of the challenges that my students face. My goal is to provide a teaching environment where my students feel they can express as freely as they want, and are not afraid to make mistakes. It is also my opinion that learning, like many things in life, is more about the process than the destination, so keeping students engaged and interested is what I aim for in every lesson.
