As a teacher, I really aim to motivate my students to learn as much as they can and to achieve their goals in their target language. I use Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy to connect the student's life and interests to the class's content, sparking meaningful reflections and debates.

Learning a new language not only requires patience, but also the ability to keep oneself motivated and that's why I'll always encourage you to find new ways to relate to the language you're learning. That can simply be done by watching, for example a YouTube channel on a topic you like and sharing it in class. Searching for content in a different language can be tricky since most times you'll see yourself struggling to find the perfect balance between those that meet your language level and the topics you're interested in at the same time, so here's where I'll help the most.

As a teacher I usually teach to my students the strategies that allowed me to speak three languages fluently. I learnt those strategies during the course of my life, looking out of the traditional academic schemes. I will teach you to be confident and to not be afraid of making mistakes, a crucial component for learning faster. I usually make the class a real conversation about the topics you prefer, in order to create the most relaxed environment possible, as if it was a talk with friends. Then, we will see together what we can improve about every areas of the language.

I've been teaching English since February/2020 and Realized that I like to do that so much. I feel so proud when I see my students' progress. Ensino inglês para falantes de português e sempre estudei sobre métodos e técnicas de aprendizado de idiomas, as quais aplico no meu próprio estudo de inglês e japonês. Acredito que ensinar é aprender e desde que comecei a lecionar, meu desenvolvimento deu um salto incrível. Gosto de utilizar o método comunicativo, porque entendo que ele é mais eficiente quando pensamos no uso linguístico cotidiano. I like to use the comunicative method cause I think it's the most efficient related to the linguistic area in our routine.

Faz mais de 5 anos que trabalho como professora de português e espanhol para estrangeiros, comecei na faculdade, além disso dou aula para brasileiros há mais de 10 anos. I have taught students of all ages from different countries - Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, Germany, China, The US, and so on. I also teach Brazilian people to develop their skills and write essays to be accepted in universities. I love my job because I can help people to "evolve" (yes, like Pokémons), to get the abilities they want or need to get a job, a girl/boyfriend, to study in a foreign country, etc. I really love what I do.

It's been a while since I've started teaching. Since May 2021 it's been 6 years that I'm a teacher and although my young age, I already have a lot of experience. I'm almost done in college since I'm writing my thesis now, and after four years and a half, I'll be getting my English Teacher University Degree

I studied Languages (Portuguese and English) at university and taught both Portuguese and English to teenagers and children at regular achools in Brazil Eu estudei Letras - Português/Inglês na universidade e tenho experiência na rede pública de ensino ensinando tanto inglês quanto português para crianças e adolescentes.

I've always helped my friends who chose to learn Portuguese with their spelling, grammar, pronunciation, idiomatic expressions and other issues they might have. Besides that, I've been teaching Spanish to Brazilians for a year and a half now, and I've recently started teaching Portuguese to foreigners. I love learning and teaching languages and I see it as a way to improve myself and getting to know new people. I truly believe that learning a language can change someone's life and I'm here to help other people do so.
