Matheus is a great teacher! I've had a few lessons now and I really feel like I'm making progress learning Portuguese thanks to him. He has a few years of experience and I think that this makes the difference for me. He is really good about communicating with me and making sure that I understand as we go. He's sure to ask me if I have any questions and does his best to address them as they come up. I've found that he has a serious mastery of English (not to say that other teachers aren't good too) which I have found to be incredibly helpful in communicating clarifications or identifying vocabulary in either Portuguese or English that I want to know in the other language. He also knows Spanish and French, which I've also been working on, so it has been nice to share those connections as well.

I really recommend Matheus as a teacher. He’s really dedicated to making learning Portuguese interesting and specific to your interests. I’ve been working with him for a few months and I really feel like I’ve learned so much.
