I belong to a family of teachers. My father a writer, poet & philosopher devoted his life to teaching & learning languages. I was raised in a household, where poetry, literature were discussed. My family is from western UP, where Hindi is the primary language , so my Hindi is free from impact of any regional dialect/accent. I believe ‘students are my teachers’ when I don’t succeed in explaining students a sentence construction – I'm forced to think of a new method & this helps me in improving my instruction.
