Most people are afraid of doing mistakes in a new language. But without mistakes it is not possible to improve. So feel free and be happy about every little progress. I always teach in a friendly and respectfully way so that you feel comfortable and in a good athmospere.

Since the beginning of 2020 I teach students German (A1 - B2), help them with spoken language and preparing for exam. I see students as friends because I think it's easier for them to talk informally. But I will also correct you as a teacher and help you getting better.

I've come to teach German more or less automatically, since I have non-german friends who want to learn German. So I'm really used to interact with German-learners and I enjoy it a lot. I'm patient and I can speak slow and clearly. I'm also good in writing different styles of texts like applications, essays or scientific papers.

I did some internships in schools and discovered how much fun it is to teach. I try to do the lessons in a relaxed and funny atmosphere without fear of mistakes.

I think it is very important to use different methods and variation when teaching in order to make the lesson more effective and interesting.

I try to make my lessons fun and enjoyable. In our first lesson we will get to know each other and decide together how we want to design our lessons. We will make various exercises which will be based on your level and your skills. The lessons should match your expectations and if you like to change something or to practice some skills more specifically, we will do so. I also like to give homework, if that is fine by you.

I am a very calm person which enables me to fully point my attention towards the student. I strive to cater my student with topics according to their levels. Never too easy, but just right to make my students sweat a little. I know how to motivate students in the right moments, in order for them to have fun while learning and having a guaranteed stamina. Because it for sure takes work to learn a language, and I would love to help others reaching their goals.

Heads up – I am a strict teacher! No slagging, no "I-can't's". Everyone can learn a language. I work with students who are motivated, who know why they learn and who really want to see results. This means intense practice during classes and homework. If you don't have time for homework, please let me know and we will find a solution together. >> For General lessons I normally use a textbook (or several textbooks) as the basis. We work with GoogleDocs, recordings, YouTube videos and other materials as necessary. >> Conversational Classes are free flow. >> During Interpreting/Translation classes we learn to make glossaries and work with videos, recordings, texts and speeches.

For the past few years, I've been volunteering with young people in schools to improve their confidence with English. During my time in Germany, I worked for the Red Cross as a learning mentor for a young refugee where I provided English conversation practice and helped him with his schoolwork. My current long-term goal is to become a schoolteacher. As a language learner myself, I understand the difficulties and challenges with learning a language and will be able to help you regardless of how old you are.

I am easy going as a Teacher, adapting to the Student’s level, while always pushing the student to become better. I have a long experience in teaching German, Mathematics & Physics to foreign students, especially also preparing students for University Entrance Exams (Feststellungsprüfung).

I have tutored for two years at the College of Charleston in German, French and Portuguese, as well as taught the beginning conversation courses for Portuguese students. During these positions, I worked a lot with textbooks and lesson plans, but I normally will adapt the students wants and needs to make sure they feel at ease and comfortable in order to learn the best they possibly can. As stated, my current work is with professionals, but I have experience with various profiles and am trained to work with students of various cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and ages. In addition, I can proficiently explain grammar in Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Dutch apart from my C2 languages.

As a tutor, I would to help you gain confidence to communicate in German. As I know how challenging it can be to talk a language you have just started learning, I am very patient.

While I have not taught a lot of people languages I have always enjoyed teaching people to play the guitar. I think that I have good understanding for what is important when it comes to learning a language and I see myself capable in providing an environment where you can improve upon your skills.

I used to teach pupils, students and adults, but also worked with actors, and some governmental employees. I started learning german 15 years ago, improved it at the german school in Landshut for 2 years, where i get my C2 certificate.

I started teaching the people I have met during my travels and it has been very rewarding to see them making progress and achieving their goals. That is exactly the reason why I decided to become an online teacher.

German, English or Swahili; speaking is the easiest way to learning a language. It is best for you to state your language needs so as we may work around that. You will be able to practice what you learnt in school.
