I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degree. Llevo dando clases de español y de inglés desde hace 5 años. He dado clases a alumnos de nivel principiante, intermedio, avanzado y niños. También he dado cursos de preparación TOEFL y cursos especializados en negocios. I’ve been giving classes of English and Spanish for 5 years. I’ve given classes to students that are beginners, intermediate, advances and kids. I’ve also taught courses to prepare for the TOEFL exam and business related.

I am a language student myself and used to be painfully shy when speaking a foreign language. I didn't let that stop me though! I figured out that the hardest part of speaking any foreign language is starting. The fear of failure can be terrifying but finding a teacher that you feel comfortable speaking to can make all the difference. In my classes, mistakes are encouraged as they are what we learn from. We all make mistakes but languages are a tool for communication with others most importantly and I believe that comfort - not perfection- is key. As a teacher I'm am constantly trying to find better ways to help my students, including recently finishing my TEFL certification.

I believe one of the greatest tools for learning is having a goal. Sometimes students come in with a goal - they want to pass a test or be able to speak fluently while traveling. Other times, we can create a goal together, whether that is writing a short story in English, reading a story they love in the native English, or learning to perform comedy. I am also happy to have a casual conversation and work at a pace you are comfortable with.

I'm a very positive teacher with a gentle tone but always willing to correct when I notice an error. I'm used to working with young students, so I like to have a little fun at times. Speaking is the best way to practice, so interesting conversation is key.
