Hi, my name is Zhentan. I was born and raised in Beijing. I'm currently working as an English teacher. I enjoy doing sports such as badminton, martial art, and rally racing, I also love music, movies.

I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degree. I will do my best to help you on your path of English learning, and I believe we can make quick progress, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students comfortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated.

I appreciate the atmosphere of a communicative and student-centered approach. Instead of just teaching the knowledge, I would attempt to involve learners in the process of discovering the language, as I think this is a better approach to enable learners to remember and understand the knowledge. I would also design proper lessons according to the different needs of learners. I can help you to practice your reading, listening, and speaking abilities. I can prepare casual lessons as well as more structured lessons, as the way you like it.

1Çince (Mandarin) ders

He was okay. However, he was not really prepared for the lesson with me. I sent him the material, then I asked him if we could do some Pinyin practice but he did not really have anything laying around. He ended up finding something on his computer when I specifically asked him again if he had something that I could practice with. Then whew I asked him a few questions regarding “asking questions in Chinese”, he kinda rolled his eyes and said “Oh, this is hard. My head is spinning” or something like that, I don’t remember exactly what he said. His English is great. I’m sure he’s a nice teacher but, unfortunately, we did not click.
