Sono contraria ai vecchi metodi di insegnamento quando l'insegnante era il centro della lezione. Mi piace che lo studente sia il protagonista del processo di apprendimento della lingua. I love teaching, it's something I've always wanted to do. In high school I attended Liceo classico: a specific kind of high school focused on learning Italian grammar, Italian literature, Latin, Ancient Greek, history and philosophy. That's why I've got a strong grammar basis and a deep knowledge of Italian literature as well. I think mistakes are a very important part of the learning process, you don't have to get discouraged from them.

Siempre he sentido curiosidad por los idiomas. Desde pequeño he ido a cursos de alemán, inglés e italiano, por lo que entiendo las dificultades que pueden surgir en una clase grupal o la necesidad a veces de una atención personalizada. Como he podido experimentar yo mismo, cada alumno tiene procesos propios para aprender. Empatía y un método personalizado son clave para garantizar la motivación del estudiante y una eficaz asimilación del idioma.

I did maths and physics tutoring for high school students, while this will be my first experience as an Italian language tutor. However, I believe I will be able to do that since I am a native speaker and I have an excellent knowledge of grammar. I also have a good knowledge of English, gained at school and during periods spent abroad; for this reason I can also teach students who have difficulties in having a conversation in Italian.

I started to teach 12 years ago, after my graduations in Italian cultural heritage. I started to work in a theatre with children and teenagers. I developed my teaching skills and I collaborated with theaters, associations and schools. In the first years of experience I taught theatre and art: I learned a lot about how to teach, how to relate with students, how to listen them and how make everything interesting for all kind of different people. Then I started to teach English in primary and secondary schools and in some associations where adults wanted to learn a new language. After that I started with Italian in some associations of foreigners.

I am a languages student so I'm perfectly aware of the problems people can have when they learn a new language. I'm here to help you! Don't be afraid of making mistakes, it's part of the process! I will help you to sound more natural and to really speak Italian. Grammar it's important but itv isn't enough.
