I'm Elisa, 100% Italian, from Milano. I'm a teacher and a traveller. In the last years I traveled a lot, walking alone across Europe for several kilometres. In my walking travels I met people from all over the world, I loved to meet different cultures. I love to share Italian culture, language, traditions. I have 12 years of teaching experience: I worked with children, teenagers and adults. I taught Italian, English, theatre and art. I have always taught face to face, with the pandemic my world has changed too. I had to adapt my job to the circumstances, so I focused on teaching Italian online. I started some months ago and I love it!

Che tipo di insegnante sono

I started to teach 12 years ago, after my graduations in Italian cultural heritage. I started to work in a theatre with children and teenagers. I developed my teaching skills and I collaborated with theaters, associations and schools. In the first years of experience I taught theatre and art: I learned a lot about how to teach, how to relate with students, how to listen them and how make everything interesting for all kind of different people. Then I started to teach English in primary and secondary schools and in some associations where adults wanted to learn a new language. After that I started with Italian in some associations of foreigners.

Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

The classes are designed according to the needs and the goals of the students. I use slides, songs, videos and a lot of materials to make the class interesting and the study of the language simple and nice. In the past I taught art and theatre, so I can offer lessons with a creative/visual method for the people who want this. We can have conversations, grammar explanations, lexicon time, listening and comprehension. I will choose topics that are interesting for the students in reading/comprehension/listening.
