After I taught Japanese on Skype for one and half years, I moved to Thailand to teach at a Japanese language school. I gained experience of teaching Japanese at the school which is famous and has a good reputation. Not only teaching the grammar, I'm good at teaching how to write Japanese letters (hiragana, katakana and kanji) beautifully.

When I was abroad, I experienced teaching Japanese to local people as a volunteer. In Japan I also worked for a language school teaching English to Japanese people for 5 years. I've been on here for a few years now & I also teach outside of iTalki as well. Hence, I've learnt a lot of grammatical rules that explain what I had previously been doing instinctively and I would say I know how to explain 90% of the stuff that goes on and if not, I could probably explain it using the way we learnt Japanese grammar in Japan, in Japanese (it's a little different).

I have been tutoring Japanese on italki about 2 year. All of my students have different reasons to learn Japanese also everyone has very high motivations. They put a lot of effort. To learn a new language should be a lot of fun, a source of joy and good time, however many people try and get frustrated. We all can learn as many languages as we want, but we should learn in natural way, like any child learns his mother tongue. As adults we frequently try to learn a new language in ways that are just not conductive. Dry repetition and memorization don’t help. A language is much more than words, a new language is like a new life. Japanese is a fascinating language of a fascinating country. I love to teach Japanese and about our food, our order and good manners, the anime and manga and many other fantastic oddities that exist only in Japan.
