I am very kind and patient. I am not a strict teacher. I know what it means to study a new language because I had to learn Thai when I was in Thailand for 2 years as an English teacher. I make sure that my students understand that it is okay to make mistake because it is part of learning, however I also want them to do their best and practice what they are learning.

I have always loved languages and have learnt them from an early age as a child. This was my main motivation to become a teacher over 15 years ago. Apart from teaching I have also spent time contracting to a language school based at one of the universities in Auckland to develop teaching materials for new teachers to help them on their teacher training journey. I am currently completing my Masters of Education which I believe will enhance my knowledge about education in general and also my teaching practice.

I taught English in private lessons, I began semester with students and ended them with preparing for their exams, and also helped learners of Arabic in Turkey on preparing for tests. Teaching Arabic came along in 2010 when I gave voluntary lessons for students of cultural exchange in the Higher Institute for Languages. First, teaching private classes at a college, then teaching for a primary school. I then traveled to India and worked out there, teaching students in Nepal. Nowadays being bilingual or polyglot is a huge advantage over all and has a lot of amazing benefits such as; more networking opportunities, highly valued in the workplace, extremely helpful while traveling or the simple fact of being able to communicate with more people. Due to these reasons I decided to learn English as my second language and being completly honest with you guys it was very hard for years, unitll I understood why, the lack of practice/speaking, as simply as it sounds but yes, the more you speak the faster you'll improve.

What I liked the most was the satisfaction of having encouraged someone to see studying as important and not as a boring mandatory activity. I always loved languages and to help fellow students, so now I´m looking forward to doing that again.
