I am a qualified English mentor, experienced in teaching abstract conversation skills, written English, and pronunciation. As a well-read native speaker, I can advise you on the nuances of both spoken and written English. I aim to ensure that my students communicate not only clearly, but articulately. Many language learners find that they are insufficiently challenged, and are no longer making progress. My lessons allow students to push themselves farther, by providing them with stimulating topics and comprehensive corrections. Ich als Lehrkraft

During secondary school I taught many younger students subjects such as English Literature, German, Economics, History and Music Theory. Such experience allowed me to familiarise myself with the subtle skill of teaching - a skill which I will likely be learning far into the future. I have since completed both a 168 hour English Teaching diploma with the International TEFL Academy and an additional 30 hour course which specialises in how to teach English online. In June 2020, I graduated secondary school among the highest academic achievers in Ireland. Please note: I DO NOT teach students under 13 OR anyone who has below A2 English. Conversational: This style of lesson is designed to be as natural as possible, while still challenging and guiding the student. Topics may or may not be chosen in advance; we can discuss acadamia, culture, film, emotional difficulties, technology and more. Reading: This lesson best trains pronunciation and vocabulary by using texts from literature and news sources. As the student reads aloud, I will ensure that all pronunciation is accurate and that all words are fully understood. Many lessons combine both styles: Reading and Conversational. See the "Let's Chat" class option. Ultimately, I strive to ensure that lessons are as friendly, respectful and productive as possible!
