Learn Japanese with private Japanese teachers

私は、長い間、日本語を教えています。小学生、外国の学生、どちらも、話す、聞く、言葉、漢字、を正しく教えます。間違いは直しますが、いつも生徒をほめて、また頑張れるように応援します。

I used to teach English to children at after-school care and I used to teach English online to both children and adults. I also have experience teaching Japanese here on Italki.

I have been tutoring Japanese on italki about 2 year. All of my students have different reasons to learn Japanese also everyone has very high motivations. They put a lot of effort. It really inspires me and it's made me thinking more what I can help for them. Their motivations become my motivation. My experience is still growing in teaching to other people, but what I can offer is a friendly and caring friend to speak with.

初級から上級の方、様々な国の方、技能実習生や社会人の方々に 会話、読解、文法、JLPT対策の授業を行いました。 日本語講師になってまだ日は浅いですが、みなさんの理解がしやすいように日々心掛けています。 초급부터 고급,여러나라 사람들,일본에서 취직하시는 분한테 회화,말하기,읽기,문법,JLPT수업 등등 수업을 했습니다. 일본어 강사 되서 아직 얼마 안 됬지만 여러분들과 이해할 수 있게 열심히 하겠습니다!

When I became a Japanese teacher, I often taught Japanese to people whose mother tongue was American or European. However, by working at a Japanese language school in South America, I became interested in inherited Japanese language education. They learn a language to know their cultural identity. I was absorbed in helping with that learning. I still teach Japanese to children who have roots in Japan in Korea. On the other hand, I also teach Japanese to adults. My class is fun for children. I teach adults to be able to speak Japanese about their hobbies and interests.

My style is student-focused. I will make sure that you feel comfortable in the class. I will encourage you to relax so you can focus on learning without pressure in the class. If you could send me a message before booking the class, I will be more than happy. I have been studying English since I was in high school. Because of that, I know how difficult it is to learn a language. However I also know how enjoyable it can be too. I really enjoy seeing my students progress. As a language learner, I totally understand how the student feel when learning a language. The reason why I became a teacher is because I wanted to help those people who struggle learning Japanese. I believe that the way to study language is not only one way. Each of us have to find our best way. I'm hoping to assist the student to be able to find the most effective and fun way of learning Japanese.

I am currently living in Melbourne Australia and teaching Japanese to about 30 students. I have taught beginner - advanced students in the last 3 years. Teaching Experience Oct 2016- May 2017: I have taught about 60 students from all over the world on italki. Nov 2016-March 2017: I taught Japanese in Ha Long University in Vietnam May 2017- now: I moved to Melbourne and started teaching Japanese. Qualifications June 2017- Oct 2017: Training Course for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language (The World Japanese Language Centre) June 2017- Nov 2018: 420 hour Advanced Japanese Teaching Training Course (The World Japanese Language Centre)

I have been teaching Japanese for 9 months. My students tell me that I am patient and easy to talk with. I hope I am:） In 2019, I successfully passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test while I was still working as a flight attendant. Working in an international environment, I noticed that a lot of people were interested in Japan. I also wanted to help my international friends to study Japanese. I am a qualified translator/interpreter from/to Japanese to/from English with a Japanese teacher certificate. I will use English for beginners with any textbook because I want you to understand the grammar well so that you can learn quickly. For intermediate/advanced learners, Japanese is primarily used to improve your Japanese expressions. I found many students who are learning Japanese at school can tell/speak what they want, but they struggle to communicate with Japanese people because of lack of meaningful listening. So, in my lesson, you will learn tips how to listen and then listen to the online resources. Textbooks: Marugoto, Minnano Nihongo, Japanese for Busy People and Genki.

I have been studying English as non-native speaker and I know how hard leaning a different language is. Through the lessons, I really want you to enjoy studying Japanese because that's the best way to learn something new quickly:)

I will decide your lesson plan depends on your goal. If you want to practice "Conversation skill", we can talk in all Japanese. If you want to learn Japanese with your Japanese textbook such as "GENKI", I will teach according to the textbook. (I have GENKI 1,2). I will give you feedback after each lesson. If you want to improve your J From my learning languages experience, I realized when you learn new language, the most important things is not only grammar or vocabularies but also confidence and courage to speak out the language that you learn. Therefore, I would like to let you speak Japanese as much as you can during my lessons:) I prefer to having relaxed lessons!

I have 3yrs of experience in teaching Japanese/English online. I started teaching on italki this year. I use a lot of visuals to help you understand Japanese intuitively.
