Me apasiona enseñar y ayudar a las personas que se encuentran aprendiendo un idioma nuevo, motivarlos para que a pesar de las dificultades que pueden existir durante el camino del aprendizaje, lo vean de una manera divertida y no como algo negativo. Mi amor por la docencia es algo nato en mi, y me gustaría poder ayudar a muchas personas de todo el mundo que se encuentran aprendiendo Español y que quieren mejorarlo o simplemente practicarlo. Llevo más de dos años en el campo de la enseñanza y realmente disfruto haciendo mi trabajo, enseñar es parte de mi esencia.

Mi formación es Maestro en Educación Primaria. Soy muy paciente y, realmente, respeto esta profesión con gran vocación. Disfruto mucho cuando enseño a un niño a leer, así como a un adulto a hablar y entender español. My training is a Teacher in Primary Education. I am very patient and, really, I respect this profession with great vocation. I enjoy a lot when I teach a child to read, as well as an adult to speak and understand English.

I have been a modern foreign language teacher (French, Spanish, and English) for nearly two decades. I started my teaching career as a business language instructor in the oil and gas industry before moving to teach in international schools in 2004. Since then, I have worked with children aged 3-18 (i.e., pre-school through high school). I am state certified to teach French, Spanish, and English to students of all ages, and as part of that process, I have passed state, national, and international background checks. For over a decade now, I have also worked as a trainer for modern foreign language teachers and to date, I have trained over a thousand teachers in more than sixty countries.

Mis estudiantes objetivo son desde adolescentes hasta adultos mayores, enseño en nivel básico, intermedio y avanzado, en intermedio y avanzado me especializo ya que es el porcentaje más alto de estudiantes que tengo. Considero que un buen profesor debe ser atento, flexible y paciente con los alumnos, lo cual son características que por completo me describen en la enseñanza. Asimismo, pienso que es vital para el aprendizaje que los profesores amen lo que enseñan para que este gusto se transmita, y en mi caso, amo el idioma español, de modo que para mi es fascinante compartir mis conocimientos sobre mi idioma nativo. Empecé a ser tutora de español cuando vivia en New York. Ha sido una experiencia muy interesante, ver como los estudiantes progresan y aumentan su vocabulario y fluidez. Soy muy paciente y dedicada en cada cosa que hago. Pienso que son dos cosas muy importantes al momento de enseñar. También soy muy espontánea e intento que las clases sean lo mas relajadas y didácticas posible.
