I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher passionate about languages, teaching, and learning. I have been learning languages for years and I know the struggle when it comes to memorizing new vocabulary, new grammar rules and pronouncing new sounds. Learning a language is an extraordinary journey, but I know that it is easy to get frustrated when the results do not tie in with our expectations. I want my students to gain confidence in their ability of learning languages. I'm ready to share with you tips, methods, and tools, that I have discovered throughout my experience as a language learner and language enthusiast.

As soon as I graduated, I started working in a language school. I have worked with people of all ages and of all levels and backgrounds, big groups, small groups and one-on-one. I can offer you my knowledge, 20 years of experience and a good will to help you in your learning journey. I like working with people who are dedicated to their goals and who find time to achieve them. I'm really happy when my students learn something new or improve their language skills and this requires seriousness from both (student's and teacher's) sides. However I like my lessons to be relaxed and friendly. Online teaching offers a lot of possibilities and I always implement new features I discover.

I'm a certified teacher and I keep studying and improving my knowledge and abilities in order to do the best as possible for my students. I consider myself as a helpful, patient, resourceful, and caring person. I teach Italian in other platforms too, such as Preply and AmazingTalker. Most of my students are beginners and Spanish-speakers, but I have students of higher level too and from other countries of Europe and Asia. So, I love to face new situations and improve my experience. At the moment I teach to adults only.

Finding myself in a foreign country, I learned that the best way to improve a language is TALKING, without any fear. I follow a communicative, student-centered approach. To me, it's really important that you feel comfortable and free to express yourself in Italian, no matter which is your level. Your needs and interests are the focus on which I will tailor the lessons. If you have studied italian before, I will send you a test before our first lesson to assess your level and tailor lessons on what you need most.

I'd like lessons to be fun as well as rewarding. In the next section I propose a way to organize our time but I'm open for any requests from students that wish to personalize their lessons.

I started teaching Italian as a foreign language in 2003, and I've been teaching online for about three years. I have a University Degree in Translation and a Ditals Certification. I love teaching and I truly enjoy helping my students.

I'm afraid I'm not the typical teacher. I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I am a motivating person in every aspect of my life and I’m sure I’ll encourage you to improve your Italian. We can talk about any topic you are interested in and focus on specific challenges you are facing.

I have experience as Italian Teacher and as English Teacher. In my last experience in Vietnam I understood that is important to start a good relationship with the students, sharing ideas, point of view, experiences and culture. Speak is the most important think once you are learning a new language, and even if is difficult at the beginning, I am here not only as teacher but also as a person who want to help you to improve a foreign language. Another important tips is to have fun while learning a new language so that you will remember the topic and the vocabulary easily and with a good memory.

I have studied foreign languages and literatures at university and I can speak Italian, English, Russian, Spanish and some German. I have been tutoring students for three years now and I have experience in helping both adults and teenagers. I hold a C2 certificate in English, so we won't have any communication problems. I've been told I'm a very precise and patient teacher and, in fact, I truly enjoy helping people.

I came to teach quite by chance. I bumped into a job advert and send through my cv. Unexpectedly, they gave me an interview, which went well so I flew to UK to teach Italian. That was incredible. Since then, I have been specialising in teaching. I have a university degree in science communication, specialises in journalism and I am at the second year of a second degree in languages and foreigh cultures, specialises in English and Spanish.I have got the CEDILS certification which is a certification of competence in teaching Italian as a foreign language or second language. I have also got C1/2 level proficiency certificates in English, Spanish and Japanese (CAE, DELE C2, JLPT2).

You set your goal, we set the steps to reach it, and then we work together to make it happen. With me you can reach an academic level, learn the business vocabulary in Italian, but also practice conversation on daily life topics. I have given many private lessons in Math and English, and I often do language exchanges with international people. So I know the difficulties of learning a new language and of practicing it with a mother tongue. Through my empathy, I will keep a comfort zone where you can make mistakes and learn from them thanks to my corrections.

My motivation for becoming a teacher is that I enjoy instilling confidence in people and sharing whatever knowledge and experiences that I have had in my life. I'm currently teaching between Italy and Iran, with courses for all levels, normal or intensive, online lessons and preparation courses for Italian certification exams: CELI, CILS, PLIDA (i am a CELI certified examiner). I have taught to people from around the world, in person and online: there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your students learn and improve! ;)

Ho deciso di diventare Tutor per due ragioni: amo la lingua Italiana che è meravigliosa e perché capisco le difficoltà che si incontrano quando si inizia a studiare una lingua straniera. Sto studiando su Italki la lingua Francese e i miei progressi sono incredibili, parlare con qualcuno e’ davvero l’unico modo per imparare o perfezionare una lingua straniera.

Presto attenzione allo studente e alle sue necessità. L’obiettivo dello studente diventa la linea guida della lezione. Assieme allo studente cerco di comprendere le sue necessità e i suoi limiti per superarli. Sono amichevole, voglio che lo studente sia rilassato e si senta libero di esprimersi. Allo stesso tempo non transigo l’errore, la conoscenza corretta della lingua porta a una comunicazione più efficace.

I've a background of studies on Humanities, so I'm very competent in my language. But let better speak my students about me as a teacher! I started teaching Italian when I wanted to improve my German for work, so when I got paid I used the money to buy new German classes. I found this activity very interesting and fun. It was amazing how many people wanted to learn Italian and learn about Italian culture. Listening to my students improving day after day was really satisfying. I studied a lot of Italian during school, so I know very well what I'm trying to teach you. I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language, and to keep it ''alive”!
