My approach is "relaxing", I want to teach Italian in a "easy" way, depending on the level of the student. I use different materials (my own presentantions, pdf, audio, video, online exercises), and I put them at students' disposal. Especially for beginners, I think that grammar is fundamental but it mustn't be boring. I also like to talk about Italian history, culture and way of life. Based on my background and life style, my goal in teaching is to improve the communication skill in everyday life needs. My name is Valeria and I am a professional Italian Teacher. I hold a Ph.D in Chinese Studies, M.A in Comparative Studies and I have 6 years of teaching experience at Chinese Universities as well as one to one tutoring in the UK. As i am a very patient and careful person, i will follow the student's progresses throughout his/her learning process, because my priority is to help him/her to reach him/her goals. I offer German/English conversation lessons for all levels as well as Italian and Spanish classes for beginner-intermediate levels. I graduated from Università Statale di Milano in 2013 in "Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures". After university, I obtained a 1st Level Master in "Promoting and Teaching of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners". In 2013 I was an intern at the Italian department of Kennesaw State University, USA. My Master’s final project was published as an article in an specialized Italian LS/L2 magazine. After my Master, I had many teaching experiences, also with Individuals with learning disabilities, both in Italy and in the USA. I worked in Pennsylvania as a Teaching Assistant for the elementary, intermediate and advanced Italian language and culture classes at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.
