Ich unterrichte seit 10 Jahren an verschiedenen Schulen SchülerInnen unterschiedlichen Alters. Zurzeit unterrichte ich an einer Grundschule und einem Gymnasium. Ich habe daher sowohl Erfahrungen im Unterrichten von Kindern als auch Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen. Before we start with the lessons, I will evaluate your current level and your goals with learning the language. I will also find out what kind of exercises and assignments you prefer, as I am well aware, that every student needs a different approach. I am a very patient teacher with a good sense of humor who is convinced, that it´s a lot easier to learn a language while having a good time. I've helped Germans improve their English for 7 years and have taught German for almost 8 years. First, I started acquiring students on a local basis in Berlin and then offered to tutor people abroad. Later I taught German to foreign prisoners in the JVA-Tegel (Tegel prison); thus, I learned how to behave professionally and understanding even in stressful situations. My knowledge about German grammar goes beyond the C1 and C2 levels, and I am sure that I can help you improve yours without much effort and, more importantly, without pressure! I am patient and use several different techniques to teach.

All this feedback and new concepts/words/expressions learned I will write down for you in a Google Doc. Nach meinem Studienabschluss 2018 des Lehramts, habe ich ein Jahr lang an einer Handelsakademie in Österreich unterrichtet. Danach bin ich durch Kolumbien und Thailand gereist und habe noch in Kolumbien entschieden, mein Leben in Österreich aufzugeben und nach Madrid zu ziehen. Die beste Entscheidung meines Lebens. Aus sportlichen Gründen entschied ich mich jedoch für einen anderen Studienweg. Hier in Viet Nam nun als Online-Tutor Studenten auf ihrem Weg zur Meisterung der deutschen Sprache zu begleiten, scheint mir die ideale Möglichkeit zu sein, dem Rat meiner Lehrer schlussendlich zu folgen. In September 2020 I started working as a science teacher at an international school, teaching children from the age of 8 to 12. After completing a 120 hour TEFL course, I also started working as a private English tutor for 5 to 12-year-old children. Since I started working as a teacher I realized how much I enjoy teaching and seeing my students make progress. So I decided to start teaching the language that I feel most comfortable with - German.

As I've been interested in languages for quite some time, I learned Latin, English and French at school and proceeded with a BA in French linguistics and literature. While completing my undergraduate, I started giving private tutoring lessons in English, French and German and noticed how much I enjoy teaching languages. After graduating I lived in the French speaking part of Switzerland where I also worked as a language assistant for German.

I have been teaching on Italki for almost four years now. I can look back on teaching people from dozens of countries around the world. Young, old, children, teenagers, business people, students - people from all kinds of cultures and with unique expectations. Additionally, I had been a student myself on Italki for about another two years before. Ich begann mit dem Unterrichten von Hochdeutsch 2017 während eines Auslandssemesters. Als ich Italki entdeckte, spezialisierte ich mich auf Zürcherdeutsch und helfe seither Einwanderern bei ihrer Integration in der Schweiz. Das Level variiert dabei von Beginnern bis hinzu Fortgeschrittenen. Aus Mangel an guten Unterrichtsmaterialien habe ich im Verlauf der Jahre meinen eigenen Kurs mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Übungstypen zusammengestellt. Ich biete auch weiterhin Unterricht in Hochdeutsch an und kann eventuell auch bei weiteren Schweizer Dialekten weiterhelfen.

When I was in high school I discovered my passion for helping my classmates with homework and then I decided to bring this to another level and offered tutoring in the following: Biology, Geography, English, French and German. Later when I finished my degree in foreign language correspondence (mainly translation and correspondence in German, English and French) I started traveling a lot and I got to know people from other countries. I have regularly given one on one classes in many different parts of the world where I have traveled to and lived in. It has always given me great pleasure seeing people improve their language skills.
