Hi there! I’ve been teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for 20+ years. I hold a BA in Pedagogy (German Studies) and I’m a certified teacher of Arabic as a foreign language. Regardless of your level, I can tailor-make a course to suit your needs!

I believe that German can be explained and actually be fun as well. Please understand that I can't accept more then 4 hours of lessons per day to keep the quality up. My native language is German, I am also fluent in English. At the moment I´m learning Sinhala and I know what it means to learn a new language and how hard it can be sometimes - additional to your lesson. So don't be afraid, I am a very fun, friendly and patient community tutor :)!

If you would like to improve your pronunciation and vocabulary, we can read short texts together and discuss them. As I've been interested in languages for quite some time, I learned Latin, English and French at school and proceeded with a BA in French linguistics and literature. While completing my undergraduate, I started giving private tutoring lessons in English, French and German and noticed how much I enjoy teaching languages. After graduating I lived in the French speaking part of Switzerland where I also worked as a language assistant for German.

As a good listener, I love to build sustainable relationships with my students because I believe that trust and learning consistency – combined with personal enthusiasm – are essential to make progress when learning a new language. I recommend booking your lessons at least two weeks in advance to ensure you find an available slot for regular classes.

Ich habe bereits knapp vier Jahre lang bei Summercamps Kindern Deutsch gelehrt, selbst privat Nachhilfe gegeben und außerdem auch Austauschschülern aus Asien Deutsch beigebracht. I worked as a freelance tutor for more than two decades and helped many students to achieve their goals. Everyone is different and while I have a nice toolbox of proven methods to help a student I will always adjust to my students and their needs. Language acquisition has many steps. We will need a good solid foundation before we can really build out our new language core.

My experience as a language teacher started in 2020 on italki. I have fun explaining the German language to others and I am really patient with students takeing their time to learn. I just started learning Indonesian so I experience for myself again how difficult it can be and that being harsh on a student is the least effective way to learn easy and fast.
