I am a firm believer in making learning - especially language learning - fun and am convinced that with this, dedication and immersion you can get pretty much anywhere in a language! But also: don't be afraid to mess up! We will go through model language to target your aims and you can send me, or share any written work and I will then help you to sharpen it to succeed in your goals.

I have many teaching techniques that students have been very pleased with when they work with me. When we meet, I will ask you what you would like to work on specifically. There are many things we could work on, including conversational skills, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing skills, pronunciation, and grammar rules, just to name a few. I love to travel. I have traveled to Germany, China, Hungary, Turkey, Ireland, Puerto Rice, and the eastern half of the USA so far. One of my favorite travel memories is playing soccer with Turkish children. I'm currently fixing a travel trailer so I can explore more of America and Canada. I have "grandma" hobbies such as reading, writing, baking, and knitting. I also have outdoorsy hobbies like hiking, kayaking, and volunteering on a horse farm. I'm a bit of a nerd, so I enjoy talking about things like Harry Potter. What things do we have in common? Let's talk about it! I show students a new thing in English every week. These things range from a good song to a comic I enjoy.

From there I can work out what we need to focus on and what you want to improve and achieve. I can provide home work and constructive feedback.
