I have had students from over 50 countries and I constantly help my best students achieve challenging goals, such as becoming Chevening scholars, getting band 8 in IELTS or passing the CPE exam. I help my students improve their English by focusing on speaking skills, effective communication and linguistic awareness. I am currently studying for a diploma in English teaching (DELTA) from Cambridge university and I intend to become an IELTS examiner in the near future.

As a learner of a language and as a teacher of English, I understand some of the struggles and successes of learning a new language. I think speaking is an important part of learning a new language so I’m excited to speak with you! Seeing my students improve and be able to communicate in a new language is exciting for me and for them. Sharing language knowledge and seeing a student progress forward is one of my main motivations as a teacher.

I am a newly qualified TEFL and TESOL teacher. I don't have any teaching experience yet. We all have to start somewhere and I believe that the right door will open for me at the right time. I have also passed Home Education with distinction. I am currently studying Early Childhood Development and have passed my first module with distinction. I feel that my qualifications, coupled with my life experience and the fact that English is my native tongue will equip me to be a really good teacher.

The main areas of teaching English as a foreign language that I have specialized in are General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, Critical Thinking and IELTS exam Preparation. Over the last several years, I have taught on numerous pre-sessional courses for students preparing to take a BA or MA degree in UK or Australian based universities. Over my teaching career, I have instructed students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds and I have a lot of experience teaching learners on a one-to-one basis. In terms of credentials, I have gained a BA in Music, an MA in Education, and the English Language teaching qualifications of CELTA and DELTA.

I have been teaching English since 1999 and shortly after obtained my CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching Accreditation) teaching qualification. I have taught in five different countries= the UK, Spain, Hungary, Vietnam and Malaysia; presently I am living in Budapest, Hungary. My motivation for teaching? There are two reasons why I enjoy teaching; firstly, the feeling of satisfaction when you have helped someone pass an examination, be successful in their career, a job interview or even learn a difficult piece of grammar. Secondly; I love the English language! I love thinking about it and considering the best way to teach it.

In 2008 I enrolled on a teacher training course in Peru and I have been teaching English ever since. I am familiar with the latest TEFL techniques and I will help you learn my language whatever your level. All you need is a little dedication and perseverance! I love my job and I mostly teach adults but also children from age 9 upwards. I have a neutral, easily understood British accent, perfect for teaching English. I have a lot of patience and I am particularly proficient in teaching English to native Spanish speakers, but it really doesn't matter where you are from.

I’ve been teaching English for over 11 years. When I got a Master's Degree in Teaching English in 2009, I started to work as an English teacher for adults & teens in Kyiv. In order to enhance my qualification and to be able to teach English worldwide, I successfully completed a CELTA course in August, 2017. Since then, I’ve been teaching people from different countries (Iran, Turkey, China, India & Chile). Now I've become Head Teacher and at my current position my responsibilities also include lesson planning, improving the syllabus of the school and observing other teachers in the classroom. Besides teaching General & Business English, I prepare students for IELTS & TOEFL professionally.

I am patient and understanding and this is reflected in my teaching style. My students must feel comfortable and their confidence must be built up in order to become proficient speakers of English. My best quality as a teacher is the ability to recognise the individuals needs and plan my classes accordingly. Teaching is my passion, and it's the path that I've decided to take in my life. I've been teaching for almost 5 years, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Introducing people to my language and culture is extremely rewarding for me. I've given classes in some courses in the United States, many big courses here in Rio, and also in many multinational companies. My current focus is teaching privately and online. I've taught all ages from 5 years old to over 80 years old. I've also taught all levels of English from beginner to advanced.

I have 2 years experience teaching English online to adults and children and I really enjoy it. As a language learner myself (Indonesian), I know and understand the difficulties people face when learning a new language.

I like to make some random jokes in my classes to keep the topic interesting and really analyze how you, the student, can improve. I write down notes and am always well prepared so we can be as effective as possible.
