He was super prepared, preparing several PPTs to help test my level, and then we moved into conversation. He was wonderful to talk to, but what I really appreciated is how patient he was. When I was searching for a word, he gave me time to come up with it on my own, or of I couldn't, worked with me to figure out what I was trying to say. This was especially meaningful to me, since I'm very out of practice with speaking Cantonese and was nervous to take a lesson again. I'm looking forward to our next lesson together!

Adam had a beautifully crafted powerpoint presentation for my first lesson with him! He was obviously really well-prepared and also really helpful throughout. :) I am still working on my Cantonese tones, because they are really difficult to me, but I really appreciated his tenacity in pointing out all the subtleties of the sound, and I also appreciated getting to know his assistant/brother too. :) thank you so much!
