I love having conversations with students to learn more about them and their culture. I believe that speaking the language one is trying to learn is what truly helps students' growth. Making mistakes is what helps people learn, so I will not be mad if anyone makes any errors. If I notice a student is struggling, I am able to make adjustments to the lesson. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
An example of a typical lesson includes introducing specific vocabulary words, a grammar concept and/or a passage to read, and a conversation that ties into the grammar concept or passage. My main goal in my lessons is to have the students do most of the talking, while I introduce the lesson and give feedback both verbally and in written form.证书

学士 - Middle Level Education: Language Arts and Social StudiesIn my education classes, I observed, tutored, and taught middle school language arts and social studies classes. During my student teaching, I taught 8th grade language arts.

Tutor and Administrative AssistantCurrently, I teach reading, writing, math, and ACT prep to 5-12th graders in person and on Zoom. I also assist with adding appropriate lessons to students' learning plans. Since Covid-19 began, we added Zoom lessons. I assisted my boss and other teachers in using the platform.
2019 - 2020
ESL TeacherI taught beginner and intermediate speaking and listening classes to adult students. My classes had between 1-6 students from several different countries. At first, it was face-to-face classes, but during Covid-19, we switched to Skype. I created individualized lessons for students in order to retain the language.
2017 - 2017
Education InternDuring my internship, I learned how to teach English as a foreign language to students from the age of 5 to 80. I gained experience teaching Cambridge English at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level. I taught one-on-one and assisted in group lessons. I also proctored practice Cambridge Exams.
