Hello everyone, my name is Tumi and I am from South Africa. I recently graduated with an Advanced Diploma from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I am currently enrolled for a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management. I'm a native English speaker however I consider myself as a multilingual individual because I speak 6 languages. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading novels, and experimenting with different cuisine. I am a bubbly, kind individual who enjoys interacting and meeting people with different cultural backgrounds.

I have two years of working experience as an academic tutor for undergraduate students. I had an opportunity to work as an ESL tutor for 6 months. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. I recently completed my 120 Hour TEFL certificate so I am qualified to teach English as a foreign language. I am currently pursuing a 140-hour TELF course. I am passionate about teaching and assisting student achieve their goals.

My teaching sessions are relaxed, fun, and casual. Each lesson will be specifically catered to a student's needs and language level. I encourage my students to ask questions during the lesson and also make suggestions at end of the lesson. I make an afford of using virtual aids such as flashcards, PowerPoint presentations, and image files. At the end of each lesson, I will give a student a task to complete on their own and feedback will be given.

I learned about some environment issues. We talked about controversial topic which was interesting for me to know new perspectives. Teacher was always supportive. I enjoyed the lesson!

Reitumetse (Temi) was amazing! I had my first Sotho class with her and she was so nice. We started going over greetings and introductory questions and answers during our first lesson. Great class and can't wait for our next class! Ke a leboha!
