Hello, I’m Motoko Beam. I live with my American husband in Kanagawa Pref., Japan. Every week I meet new people from various English-speaking backgrounds and discuss a wide variety of topics including work, family, hobbies, personal opinions, travel and other topics native English speakers are interested in. I have English-speaking friends all over Japan, the US, England, Hong Kong, Canada, China, South Korea, Indonesia and France. I’m a native Japanese speaker and have a mostly American-sounding English accent that’s flowing and easy for native speakers to understand.

教学经验

I am certified as a language instructor in 2017 by the Canadian Institute of English and Applied Neuroscience, and obtained Bachelor's degree on Education in 2019. Since I regularly interact with many foreigners living and working in Japan, I’m very used to explaining Japanese customs and behavior in the way that is easy for non-Japanese to process.

Мотоко сан замечательный педагог. Я работал со многими преподавателями Японского языка и она одна из лучших. Дело в том, что на айтоки всегда можно найти для практики японского языка человеа из япоинии, но найти такую как Мотоко сан очень трудно. Она не только педагог с опытом, но она очень изобретательна. Она всегда готовится к уроку и работает на моем уровне понимания. Её диалоги очень хорошо применимы в реальной жизни. То есть это не просто граматика, а конструкции языка, коорые можно приметнять в реальнй жизни. Обязатетьно рекомендую для тех, кому нужна практика языка!

We talked about giving directions to practice and remember words used to give directions. We used a map of my local area. It was fun and I really enjoyed it!! I have also remembered all the words which will be very helpful!! Then I shadowed you reading a text. You are so patient and I love your teaching style!! You are a fantastic teacher!!
