I have tutored people at my college Spanish classes, helping them understand concepts, vocabulary and grammar points that are made unnecessarily hard in traditional teaching methods. I have mostly taught in person, however, I believe teaching online, while not the same, offers a big realm of possibilities for learning. Be it through interactive ressources, video and audio material, it is my objective for the student to fell comfortable and safe. I believe learning a language does not need to consist purely of memorizing grammar points, and my experience has taught me interaction with a native speaker is the most effective, and that is what I like to impart in my lessons. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My classes are mostly conversation based, however, I will include grammar points that are essential for developing strong Spanish bases. I believe it is essential to consume media in the language you are trying to learn, this is why I like to incorporate as much media (music,videos,articles,etc.) as possible in my lessons. I believe myself to be a laid back teacher whose main interest is to develop the expressive skills of the student.我的教学资料

Sofia is great with my daughter! She is ready to go, has a lesson plan prepared, and gently corrects when needed! They have covered a variety of topics and my daughter looks forward to her lessons!

Sophia is an excellent Spanish teacher. She is very patient and took the time to make sure that I understood what was taught. She also speaks English really well and was able to provide equivalent words and phrases in English to help me understand the context better. Thank you Sophia!
