Hello, I’m happy to introduce myself to you. My name is Craig and 50 years old. I was born in the City of Pretoria in South Africa and live near Johannesburg. South Africa is a beautiful country with friendly people and a lot of natural beauty and wildlife. I’m a native English speaker. I also speak Afrikaans and am learning to speak French I have a number of interests and hobbies. I really enjoy taking part in endurance sports like Ironman, ultra-marathons cycling events, and open-water swimming. Photography and the outdoors and camping are other passions of mine. As far as qualifications go, I am qualified in business management, counselling, and therapeutic massage.

As far as teaching goes. I have a TEFL (Teach English Foreign Language Qualification) and have been teaching English online since 2018 I’m best with teens and adults, but also competent with children from 8 years old and up.

My lessons are best suited to intermediate and advanced level students, and I am able to help students at business and academic level. Tools that I use in my lessons include topical discussions, slide presentations, topical photos, and videos are also very helpful. Discussing news articles is also a great way to improve conversational English. For beginners, I find props and flashcards to be a great help. My style is conversational because actually speaking English is the best way to learn English. You have the freedom to try, you have the freedom to make mistakes because it is by making mistakes that we learn. I am available on Google Hangouts, Jitsi, Skype or Zoom.
