Hey, my name is Gerald. I was born in Austria but also living in Berlin (Germany) for many years, so I know both the Austrian as well as the german German. A couple of years ago, I relocated to Peru, where I'm teaching German on italki full time. Apart from languages, I'm interested in yoga, travelling, sustainability, cooking, current affairs and nature. I'm easy to talk to and try to only interrupt when it's really necessary.教学经验
In my experience the biggest problem with learning a language is that the students think they need to get it perfectly right every time they say something. This stops you from talking freely, and makes you fal short of your full potential. In my lessons, I will encourage you to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I offer different kinds of lessons, some follow a course structure, others are only focused on conversation. Of course it's also possible to mix a structural approach with free speaking. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I offer both structured courses based on books (great for beginners), as well as conversational lessons with or without material but always with corrections and tips. I love teaching 1:1 because we don't need to make compromises and can focus on exactly what's right for you personally. No matter if you wanna go from zero to fluent with a structured course, if you just wanna brush up your german skills from high school, or if you need some conversation practice next to your full time course, we'll always create the class that is best for you individually :)我的教学资料
