I've completed full course for begginers with Arno from zero. It was a great pleasure to study. Arno is patient, attentive, puts no pressure on you and has a unique method of teaching the language. Method is about learning the logic of grammar and immediately building sentecises on that understanding. You start speaking from the first lesson. It gives the sense of achivement and joy. Later there would be some written exercises (mostly building sentences on your own to practise what you'd learn). By the end of the course I can speak, read and write. The only problem is vocabulary. You would have to learn a lot on your own to utilize the information from the course in real life. But the benefit of the course is greater, so I would definitely recommend it everyone who wants to learn German from scratch :)

What a treat to learn and chat with Arno, excellent teacher and insightful etymology knowledge, I enjoyed our conversation and look forward to our next one :)

Great introduction to how the lessons will work and initial conversation practice

I just finished my 10th lesson with Arno. He is engaging and knowledgeable and generally a brilliant teacher. He has a fantastic way of helping me go out of my comfort zone. He is balancing the courses among grammar, syntax and conversational training. He is, also, paying attention to my weak points and helps me improve. In addition, he is easy to talk to and very adaptable our my needs. One last thing, I really appreciate, is that he tries to give me material to read/watch, outside the lesson, that suit my interests in order to be more engaged.
