This October marks two years since I have been learning Turkish with Tarık and I am still amazed by how great a teacher he consistently is. I had a lot going on this year for various reasons and did not have much time to study, but my Turkish has improved greatly nonetheless. We use our class time very effectively, splitting the class into speaking and textbook grammar review. When I make a mistake, Tarık corrects me on the spot, writes the correction for me, and gives me time to absorb it and confirm that I understand the grammar rules in play. He seems to have an endless supply of patience in addition to always being punctual and prepared. I highly recommend him.

He is very nice and easy-going, easy to talk to. We had a nice flowing conversation covering a broad range of topics. However if you run out of things to talk about in general conversation, he is ready with a whole series of possible conversation topics, so he is well-prepared to hold conversation classes. I really enjoy chatting with him. Since I am a teacher, we talked at length about school, the Turkish education system, comparing school systems in different countries, and I told him a lot about the school where I work.

A couple of months ago i started learning the cases, in the beginning i was confused i was mixing them up, it was frustrating i almost gave up and i even once decided to quit learning. So i decided to take them one by one understand the concept, write as many sentences as i can (200 or more) do the exercises again and again make mistakes it's ok :) and guess what i started mastering all cases i still make some mistakes (simple ones) but it's ok. What i want say is don't give up it's not hard and with Tarıks help you will get there in no time. Thank you so much Tarık for being so patient and encouraging. Wish me good luck in the talking part :).
