I absolutely loved talking with Tomoko! I usually feel a bit nervous speaking in Japanese but she made me feel relaxed and I really appreciate that. I felt like I could express myself more in Japanese. Great lesson, will definitely book again :)

I really appreciate the practice conversations. Although I live in Japan and I get to use my Japanese, the corrections and practice is necessary. Tomoaki-sensei helps my Japanese sound more natural. I’m learning Japanese I will use. Sensei is also fluent in English which is so helpful because she can teach me words that don’t have exact translations that I can look up in the dictionary. Look forward to my next lesson. I highly recommend. :)

Another fabulous lesson with Tomoko Sensei! I'm so happy to receive all the thorough practice with the verbs because as all good language teachers know, mastery of verbs is essential for communication. I'm excited for the next lesson!

Of the languages I study on italki, I enjoy Tomoko Sensei's lessons the most. I always have so much fun and the time flies by so fast. She is so supportive and patient even when I make mistakes or need time to understand. I'm so happy to be learning Japanese with her!
