Hello, my name is Vicky and I'm a native English speaker from the UK. I grew up in London but have spent the last few years travelling to different countries and experiencing different cultures. The things I enjoy most about travelling are meeting new people, sharing experiences, hearing new languages and of course trying new foods! Apart from travelling, my hobbies include cooking, reading, writing, watching movies, and playing video games. I'm also learning Spanish so I understand how hard it can be to learn a new language.

教学经验

As a teacher, my main focus will be teaching day-to-day English. I can also teach slang and explain the different phrases used by different English speakers. What may be polite in one country may be considered rude in another! I studied creative writing at university so I have a good grasp of the English language and a wide vocabulary. I also have a TEFL certificate (150 hours). Over the last few years I have casually tutored young adults (18-30) in English and I have also tutored teenagers in mathematics.

My lessons will focus on a conversational natural English rather than the formal English normally taught in schools. This type of English is the one you're most likely to need and use. In terms of my teaching style, I like to keep things fun and informal, mainly talking about topics such as films/movies, music, food and travel.

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Vicky. We talked about crazy things, plans for the future, traveling, etc. She is very supportive. I highly recommend you taking lessons with her.
