Hi there! My name is Jessie and I am an Aussie (Australian) currently living in Colombia! I am a marketing professional with over 10 years' experience in brand and marketing strategy and communications. I am well versed in Business English. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business with my Honours in Marketing. I love travelling the world and learning about different cultures. I love to help people and I have been a volunteer in some capacity for most of my adult life. I am also passionate about health and wellness and I am a self-confessed 'foodie' - meaning I love to eat food and cook!

I have been teaching English here in Colombia for over two years. I now mainly work with adults to help grow their confidence in speaking English for work purposes. Regardless of your goals, I can help you achieve them. I will work flexibly with you and design lessons based on your needs. I am very patient and friendly with a neutral accent. I will provide you with the feedback you need to realise your errors so you can begin to fix them. I have a comprehensive TEFL qualification and a Bachelor's Degree in Business with my Honours in Marketing. In Australia, I volunteered for years in a range of programs with refugees to help develop their English language skills and their business acumen.

I deliver a range of lessons tailored to the needs of my students. This includes: general conversation classes, interview preparation and resume review, business English, grammar, reading and writing, including for a specific purpose. I have prepared a range of materials to use throughout the class. I use the text-box function in Skype to provide passive corrections and at the end of class I will provide you with a summary of mistakes with corrections and new vocabulary and/or grammar. It's important that my students are talking in class, so my main emphasis will be on you speaking!
