Hi! I am happy you are thinking about choosing me as your teacher. I understand the challenges of learning a second language because I taught myself Spanish, French, and Japanese. I can speak 3 locals languages as well. I have been working as a teacher since 7 years ago. I am not only teaching languages but also I am a chef. Sometimes I teach my students how to cook authentic Indonesian foods( cooking class) in my restaurant,/I visit them in their villas. So if you are interested in Indonesian food as well, let's have a chat :). I am skilled at grammar explanation. In each lesson, we will focus on words, expressions, and sentence structure.

All lessons are conducted in English with Indonesian translation/ vice versa. You will learn and grow through: 1. Scenario-Based on communication role play. 2. Question and answer speaking activities. 3. Listening, speaking, and reading exercises. I often like to use visual aids, audios, songs, games, signs, symbols, and many more to teach more efficiently, and every lesson is full of essential vocab.

Ivy is great in shaping the conversation during the class. The lessons are structured and yet flexible to expand on ideas. She is really patient with correcting the mistakes and shares the right way of speech by sharing her examples and sending it on messages. (so after class I have lots of good material to review). As Indonesian in real life if quite informal, I highly appreciate Ivy compare & contrasting formal and informal ways to express and idea. Extremely recommend to other students!
