My name is Vero and I am new on iTalki, but I have been teaching Spanish and ESL English in-person and online for over twenty years. I was raised in Argentina and the US, so my native tongues are both Spanish and English.
I am a lover of foreign languages and I love to travel around the world to learn them. In addition to Spanish and English, I am also fluent in French and Italian. My interests include music, art, cooking, dancing (tango, in particular!) and making friends from all over the world.教学经验
I have been teaching Spanish and ESL English for over 20 years at all levels. I specialize in teaching seniors, adults and teens. I hold a TESOL certification and have specialized in Theories of Second Language Acquisition, as well as, Lesson Design & Assessments from Arizona State University. I also hold a Masters Degree from Rutgers University (M.A.L.S. Culture & Arts)
I tailor language lessons to students' specific needs (school, work, travel or pleasure), personal interests and learning style. Lessons are designed to progressively improve your listening and oral production competencies in creative ways. Grammar is learned along the way too.

Generally, lessons are structured in three parts: a conversation section to develop oral fluency, an introduction to a grammar module with guided practice and also a vocabulary section with a special focus on pronunciation. I like to build activities around your personal interests: movies, recipes, art, etc., but will also listen to your specific requests.
I will provide you with all the materials necessary. During the session, I use a Google shared document which doubles as a running class notebook and a whiteboard.
IMPORTANT: It is key that you have access to a computer or iPad during the lesson to comfortably access the document and be able to type in too (a cellphone will not work)我的教学资料
