Hello Everyone, My name is Ryan and I was born and raised in London. I have since relocated to the South of England, to a small seaside town called Brighton. I love music, languages, cooking and golf. I often find myself listening to bands such as The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Natiruts & Tame Impala. I have been studying Spanish for 4 years, most recently focusing on Argentine Spanish. I have a passion for travel and love to experience new cultures and to meet new people. I have been lucky enough to visit countries such as Argentina, Cuba, Mexico and Egypt. I was due to travel both Central & South America last year. Just me and my backpack. Now you can find me at home drinking Mate.

I am TEFL and IELTS qualified as of last year. I had the fantastic opportunity to teach in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 4 weeks. Since January 2019, I have been helping people with their English speaking skills. As a teacher, I am fun, reliable, respectful and creative. I totally understand how hard it is to learn a new language and sometimes things don't quite 'click and fall into place'. That's perfectly fine, it's part of the process. I have taught people of all ages and abilities and love to see people improve their skills, abilities and most importantly their confidence. I also maximise and encourage speaking as much as possible, as I feel its the best way to learn a new langauge.

My first lesson is usually for us to get to know each other so we can understand your level. Lessons can be relaxed or specific. We can focus on a particular topic, focus on phrases, new words, grammar or vocabulary. It's up to you. You choose how you would like to learn with me. We can also utilise a range of materials such as music, news articles, presentations, audios, series and videos. We can decide together the best way for you to learn and tailor a plan to suit your needs. At the end of each lesson I can provide feedback on where you need to focus more in order to help you improve. I aim to make lessons fun and interesting but most importantly, talk about subjects you enjoy.
