Hello, my name is Storm. I am from the United States. I used to live in the Netherlands but have moved back. English is my native language. I speak English fluently as I am a native. I have always enjoyed teaching and I enjoy meeting new people. I think language learning can be fun. I will help you as much as I can, and I look forward to meeting you. I started teaching English in 2017 after I acquired my TEFL certification. I can help you with conversational skills (small talk is very important in the English speaking world), listening skills, pronunciation, grammar, writing, and reading. Most importantly I can also help you with IELTS and TOEFL.

I am patient and understanding. I know that learning a new language or even perfecting a language can be difficult. I want to help you establish a reasonable goal and give you the self-confidence and skills to achieve this goal. Even if you are fluent in English, it is important to keep up with your skills by using it. I know this from personal experience. I can help you prepare for school or job interviews, small conversations to big conversations, and IELTS. I use a lot of different resources to help accommodate you and make the lesson easier. I focus on pronunciation, grammar, and I try to add new vocabulary every lesson. I hope to see you soon!

Our lessons will be unique to you. Our first class will be about figuring out what you know, what your goal is, and how best to approach this goal. (Please message me when you request a class) I enjoy helping students expand their vocabulary. I also help you with thinking in English, this will help you use those new words that you are learning. With grammar learning, I do a series of lessons and then we review with conversation. I set up the conversation to where you have to use the new grammar that we learned. I want you to feel comfortable using English. *If you do not show and inform me that you are not attending class, I wait 15 minutes and then I will not accept your call afterwards.

What could I say after having had 47 wonderful lessons with Strom? In a word, I'm going to take more! Storm is a brilliant teacher and wonderful person. She makes up awesome grammar lessons and helps you to convey your thoughts in writing and speaking as a native speakers would convey them. She creates a wonderful atmosphere of laughter and comfort on her lessons which help you overcome your fears and pounce on learning of English with all your might :) I higly recomennd her as a teacher! You're really missing out if you won't have a class with her.
