Before teaching Korean I taught English to Korean teenagers over 10 years in Seoul. I'm a TESOL qualified teacher.
Just before coming to Milan, I got a degree and a certificate in teaching Korean to foreigners.
Experience teaching English was helpful for me to teach Korean. In Milan, I taught Korean at Universita Della Terza eta. My first students were beginners without knowing the Korean alphabet. Most of all they were busy and could spend only one hour a week. But after one year they could read it and talk simple dialogue. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My lesson is tailor-made by students' needs. Some students have their own books, some want to prepare for an examination, or just talking in Korean.
If students are beginners and have no idea I recommend 'Basic Korean'. It consists of 40 chapters. Each chapter has a very useful dialogue ( in the airport, in front of the station, on a bus, hotel, shop, etc.) some vocabulary, 2 grammars, and practice.
Before the lesson, I send some pages and audio files. During the lesson, we study the pages and take a role play.我的教学资料
