Hi, my name is Nikolija. I’m a native German speaker with a Master’s degree in German linguistics. I lived in Austria for 10 years and I speak standard German without an accent. Currently, I live in Novi Sad, in Serbia. I studied German language and literature and I am really passionate about teaching, reading books, yoga and spending time in nature.

I have 5 years of experience in teaching from beginners to advanced learners. First I was a classroom teacher in a primary school, but later I found that teaching one-on-one is both, more efficient for students and more interesting for the teacher. I am patient, friendly and reliable. You can book an informal tutoring lesson so I can get to know you better and understand what your strengths and weaknesses are, so I can make a personalized plan for you which fits your needs.

In my lessons, I primarily focus on communication. I want you to speak as much as possible using various methods such as describing pictures, topic discussion and real-life scenarios in dialogues. I know how important it is to stay motivated and this is why I always try to engage my students with fun and creative activities. Additionally, I can help you master German grammar, since I know how tricky it can be for most students. I will try my best to explain it in a simple way and take you to a higher level in the shortest time possible. In addition to that, I also have experience in exam preparation like Goethe, ÖSD, and college admission exams.
