I am an Architect working in Atlanta, Georgia. I have lived in China, Japan, and the United States. I am fascinated by foreign cultures and languages. I also love to draw, go hiking, cook foreign dishes and travel abroad when I can. I really enjoy a balanced study of both written and oral language as well as a chance to practice both reading and writing with my students. I believe that consistent practice and pursuit of reasonable goals is crucial to learning a language. It took me eight years to learn Japanese fluently and for me that was still the beginning of my language journey. 私は書面と口頭の両言語の勉強と、学生と一緒に読書と筆記の両方を練習する機会を楽しんでいます。一貫した練習と合理的な目標の追求が言語を学ぶために不可欠のことだと信じています。私の日本語が流暢になる時間は8年間かかっていました。それはまだ自分の言語旅の始まりでした。

In a typical lesson, I will evaluate your level with a simple conversation and written chat. From there I will gather your preferences for how you want the learning experience to be, conversation based, or with accompanying material. I encourage my students to learn at their own pace, and compliment their growth in English or Japanese with fundamentals of Eastern or Western culture. 一般的な学課では、簡単な会話とチャットであなたの能力を評価します。そこから、会話または付随する資料の好みを集めます。自分のペースで学ぶことを奨励し、どんどん上手になりながら西洋文化の基礎を教える予定があります。
