Today I feel like we broke a barrier. Instead of shutting down if I couldn’t express myself perfectly, I just said the words and kept the conversation going. I didn’t care today if the words were wrong because I know Celeste is supportive and will constructively correct me and make sure I fully understand. She always teaches with a smile and you never feel judged. I think, to date, this is the most spanish I’ve ever spoken and after breaking this barrier today, I’m excited to speak even more. The lessons are working!
