As a teacher, I support student-oriented education. Each student also has different interests at different levels. I have made it my principle to focus on these areas of interest and make the learning process easier and more enjoyable. The learning process does not always have to be challenging. Taking learning seriously will make speaking come far more easily.

I have always been fond of interacting with different people and discovering all the cultures in the world. Therefore my decision to continue my journey as a lifelong "LEARNER" caused me to become the "EDUCATOR" that I used to dream about. What I really care about my lessons is the FLEXIBILITY in the teaching plan and the level of INTERACTION during the lessons. I immediately adapt to students' level in the first lessons and consistently analyze achievements throughout the lessons. I have perfected my teaching method of recreating the intimacy and efficacy of personal tutoring online. Teaching Turkish is truly my passion and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I tend to balance the four abilities, reading, speaking, writing and listening. However, it depends on what are willing to develop or focus on. I can adapt to what you ask for. We can work with some pdfs provided by me so we can follow a structured course and you can also practise with some exercises.

I belive that the best way to learn a new language is to speak it. My students are teenagers and adults. I pay attention to every sphere of language such as pronunciation, grammar and lexical material. I'm always pleased to know about my students' success in moving to a new country, finding a new job and friends. They speak new language and feel confident in their new life.

I am an EFL teacher since 1998. I taught EFL at a French primary school in Romania and was the head of foreign languages department at a school in Turkey where I coordinated the Oxford Placement Tests and Cambridge YLE, KET, PET, FCE exams. I taught Turkish in the Turkish Embassy in Bucharest. I am experienced in English Acquisition, the British National Curriculum at primary level, IBMYP I&S, IBMYP History and IGCSE/AS/A Level History for Years 11 & 12. In China, I was Head of English Acquisition and an IB English teacher. I am CELTA certified and have a qualification from Lancaster Uni to teach dyslexic students. I have been working in Uganda at an international school for two years.

I had already started teaching Turkish in Kazakhstan when I was an exchange student but I wanted to educate myself more about it. In 2017, I received the certificate of "Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" from Yunus Emre Institute. In the 2017-2018 academic year, I’ve worked as a lecturer of Turkish language and culture at Comenius University in Bratislava for 1 year within the scope of Yunus Emre Institute's Turcology Project. I love to observe learning process of individuals and getting feedbacks on my teaching method. Besides being a native and a professional Turkish teacher, I’m also a learner. I’ve learnt English, Kazakh and French. I know how to turn your pain into pride.

Güzel ve doğru konuşmak için lisans ve yüksek lisans boyunca birçok eğitim aldım. Radyo programcılığına başlamadan önce de fonetik diksiyon, vurgu ve tonlama eğitimleri ile bilgimi çoğalttım. Regarding to my previous experiences, I am certain that personal mind set is very important on learning Turkish. Grammar is important for a proper use, but to improve, people have to use more fluent stuff on speaking. I speak about my and students' daily routines, dreams & objectives, memories.. like we are close friends .. These kind of things are very important to get involved to the culture and meanings.

Good communication, good articulation mean a lot to me. No matter how much you know, how much you have acquired, if you are not good at articulating yourself, you rock the boat especially in teaching. As once a great Farsi writer living in this country (Rumi) said "...You can only explain as much as who listens to you can understand." In that sense Teaching is always more than transmitting knowledge. A teacher always represents an identity regardless of different learning settings. Looking upon my student years, teachers whom I admire are not those who perhaps know the most but the ones who could express themselves the best.
