As a teacher I put the students first. I believe that the students have great knowledge how they learn best and my mission is to support you the best I can along the way. I´m very patient as a teacher, and I find it important to give students time to reflect and learn in their way.

A key aspect of what I do as a teacher is to help the student find a language learning process that is enjoyable in itself. Yes, it is helpful to know why you want to study a particular language and what your goals are but above all, you need to have a learning process that is enjoyable in itself because only then can you reach mastery (or whatever goal you have a mind) while having fun along the journey. Often, this involves letting go of your inner perfectionist, embracing failure and learn to enjoy making mistakes. When we free ourselves in this way, we can start to play with the language itself and as a result, we will learn much faster and have a much better time while we are learning.

I want to help you practice speaking Swedish or English. I am very used to talking to people who are not completely fluent and I am very patient, so we can adapt our conversations to whatever level or speed you are comfortable with. I will adapt our lesson to your needs as a student, so let me know what kind of lesson you want. Först och främst vill jag hjälpa dig att öva på att prata Svenska eller Engelska. My name is August Rex and I teach Swedish. I'm fun and easy to talk with. I'm a musician and write and sing in Swedish, so I'm used to work with the Swedish language. I'm sure I can teach you a lot!

I would say that I am very patient, calm and enthusiastic as a teacher. I love teaching. I love being able to help people to integrate in the Swedish society by learning the most essential part, the language. I also do love being able to help the ones who are passionate about language and need a little extra motivation and help when it comes to the improvements. I have various years of experience, I started tutoring Swedish for immigrants after school as i was 16 years old and ever since then I have been tutoring especially from 2014 and onwards. Since July 2017 I have had the privilege to teach on iTalki and i absolutely love it. It has given me a lot of experience and knowledge.

Då jag har rest världen runt och träffat många olika människor och upplevt olika kulturer känner jag mig säker på att jag kommer kunna komma överens med vem som helst och att vi aldrig får slut på saker att prata om. Jag är tålmodig och uppmärksam på studentens behov, vare sig du är i början eller slutet av din resa att lära dig svenska. I have experience of teaching English in Ecuador I have taught Swedish with the Nordic Society at University College London (UCL). I enjoy teaching languages primarily because of the lovely people I get to met along the way. I love sharing my passion for reading and for great films with my students. Other people's curiosities invite me to explore new fields so that I can be a bridge for them.

I mix a little traditional teaching with alot of sped up native learning techniques.
