Since 2015 I have taught full time to students from 13 to 65 years of age, from basic academic skills to advanced business levels (for companies like Amazon, LinkedIn, Burger King and Walmart), and to people from all continents; always adapting to their needs. I got my certification as a foreign language teacher from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. I can switch from English to Spanish or vice versa if needed (but I generally prefer only to speak in the language I teach), and I can also support with different accents, formal expressions or slang. I have helped others presenting international certifications such as the IELTS, TOEFL and USA and Mexico citizenship.

I've more than 2 years of teaching experience and during my carrer as a Spanish teacher I've taugth students from basic levels (A2) to advanced levels (C1), in this period I have adquired the skill to prepared my students to exams like DELE and OPI. I've helped my students when they've needed to move to countries where Spanish is the native language or just to travel. My lessons could be structured depending on my student's individuals needs and interests. I consider myself a very supportive and patient teacher. My sessions are centered in the student, therefore I bring them company, guide and support, but they are the only protagonists who must construct their own knowlegde of the target language in the way that is most convenient for them, that's why, I like being someone very flexible, who gets adapted to the student needs, with the only aim to make it easier and enjoyable this long and not always very easy process of foreing language acquisition. Like in any other profession, being up to date is very important, so participating in trainings that help teachers to improve their performance in class are always part of my schedule.

I am a very patience teacher so you are never going to feel embarrast or bad in my lessons, I try to create a perfect environment to learn Spanish, one that makes you feel protected and encourage you to speak Spanish . I work as a primary teacher in Spain so I have a lot of experience with kids and beginners in a new language. I know a lot about my subject I am always studying and trying to improve my teacher knowledge and skills. I have different approaches to teach you Spanish, focusing on grammar, communication, helping you with the DELE exam, or even learning some specific Spanish for small purpuses like traveling, businness, or introduce yourself in Spanish.

I've taught both Spanish and English in Mexico (mostly to teenagers/young adults), always trying make my students feel comfortable so that they speak from day one. Creating an engaging lesson is key too, I believe this helps with motivation for learning, enjoyment of the class and retention.

As part of being a professional teacher, I try my best to make my students feel comfortable to participate in class. I like to teach in a very friendly way, so they can feel confident and self-assured. Learning a new language can be difficult at the beginning, so I always strive to allow my students to express their ideas without being afraid of making mistakes.
