My most important goals inside the classroom are to both offer a pleasant learning environment, however also to offer one in which each student's specific goals are met. That is, no doubt, not always very simple however, I believe my style of focusing on student needs makes it more often than not, succeed.

I started to occasionally work as a teacher of Romanian and of English while studying for a master’s degree in Romania. However, my career in education took off in France upon my second graduation there. Even though I worked for six years in several high-schools, I don’t recognize myself today in the image of a typical high-school teacher. For efficiency’s sake, I strive to be a good facilitator. My role is neither to point out every mistake you make (unless you want me to) nor to become your next source of nightmares (even if you want me to) but to help you find the easiest and most productive way for you to learn a foreign language.

As a teacher , I am a great listener, caring person, I want to help my students improve their language level, communication skills, any subject they may want to improve. I care a lot about the people I work with and I always provide my value and respect. I can help you through language, explain and answer questions, but your results are entirely on your motivation , I encourage you to express yourself freely, slowly you'll become confident in your language abilities.

By now, you probably had some formal lessons in schools or special courses. Now it's time to practice the theory and start speaking! I am here to help you improve your speaking skills through practice.

I can empathize with foreign language learners because i was a Foreign Language student for 3 years, learning Swedish and improving my English language skills. So I know how difficult it can be sometimes to learn a new language and that's why i consider that a friendly environment is key in learning a different language. Talking about your interests, hobbies and everyday events is the best way to learn a foreign language! So book a lesson and let's have some fun !

Being a language learner myself I'm very aware of the challenges and manage to apply my practical learner experiences into my teaching to create a confident, mindful space for my students. Confidence, motivation, and a conscious learner approach I believe to be the main driving forces for effective language acquirement. I aim for you to enjoy and get a lot out of every class, and by frequently applying a positive feedback loop, I will make sure that the class, our approach, and the work material always stay in tune with your current needs, learning style, goals, and interests.

I pride myself on being able to have a good conversation on any topic and also on having a really good sense of humor. That is why, our classes will always be fun and you'll be looking forward to them. I am also very open-minded and enjoy learning about other cultures and traditions from all around the globe. I'll make sure to guide and motivate you during your learning process and you can always ask me anything, even outside of class. If you want, I will also give you weekly homework so you can improve your level outside our classes as well.

I have experience helping foreigners learning Romanian and Russian, both in Moldova and Romania. Mainly foreign colleagues at the University who wanted to improve their language skills.

I am here to teach you the Romanian language from a new perspective, that of a long time Romanian expat, with an objective view of what makes the Romanian language and culture different - because when you learn a new language, vocabulary means nothing without the context it comes from. To help you form that context, I will use my experience of teaching English from the time I lived in Indonesia, but especially my perspective as a foreign language student. Traveling to many places, I came to realize how important the role of language is in helping you truly discover a people.

I consider that working with people is my calling. From my own experience, I know that the most difficult part of studying a new language is overcoming the communication barrier.

I strongly think that with perseverance, the right attitude, hard work and a perfect shaped plan achieving your goals will be a piece of cake. It is vital to say that I bring my philosophy and sense of enthusiasm to my lesson as I do daily in my personal life. Remember that your objective, is my objective and when you succeed, I succeed. I can assure you that my work experience as a Personal Assistant for Managers provided me with the right framework for business classes and critical thinking.

I put my students' needs first and guide them in such a way that they will reach their learning goals. Under my lessons, I will focus mostly on the conversation, but if you prefer working with some written material, then I will do that as well. I believe that the methods I use will ensure that you learn Romanian or English in an optimal way while having a fun time and enjoying a good conversation.

At university, I studied Sociology followed by a Visual Arts Master degree from the University of Bucharest. My teaching journey started in 2014, after receiving a short, intensive TEFL training in Spain. During the years I interacted with students from all over the world: USA, England, France, Austria, Brasil, Switzerland, Norway, which I am really grateful for.
