I have learned languages in many different ways, although my preference is surrounding myself with the language, meaning, listening to the music, watching movies, reading in the target language, and speaking to the natives. I have learned languages with the traditional method, meaning, going to classes, learning vocabulary and grammar, although this process takes a lot of time and is not always applicable in real life situations. I believe that everyone knows people that have been learning languages for years and cannot use the language to communicate with others. I believe that this is wasted time and that this system of learning is not the best.

I have great passion for teaching - I am patient and encouraging and I try to find fun in the learning process. I adapt my teaching style to each individual student and plan the lessons accordingly.

I have already helped to master Latvian to a number of my friends and acquaintances from different countries starting from basic up to academic and professional level.
