I have been a trainer in my previous corporate jobs and have taught Kannada language to non-Kannadigas in Karnataka. This passion for teaching/training eventually led me to do my TEFL certification in Bangkok,Thailand. I have taken my IELTS too with a score of 8. I also topped my school in English, in my 10th standard board exam with a score of 96/100! To have a more diverse profile, I decided to start teaching on italki. Through italki, I will be able to share my love for languages, particularly English and Kannada to students who take lessons with me. Also, as I love travelling, I will want to know more about you, your culture and your country. I might just visit your country in future!

I have always enjoyed teaching others. I've taught languages to the school kids around my neighborhood for few years as a home tutor and in those days I learned different techniques to teach to different levels of learners. I also learned that everyone has their own speed while learning and as a teacher we need to understand that speed and teach accordingly. I've also conducted a few photography workshops in some NGO's in my city.

I have been teaching Kannada since the last 15 years. I have taught Kannada to students from all over the world who come to learn Yoga in Mysore. I always try to understand the cultural background of my students so that communication becomes smooth and productive.
