Ho studiato per 5 anni latino e greco al liceo, dove la grammatica era al centro dell'attenzione, con l'esperienza ho però capito che per iniziare ad apprendere una nuova lingua (cosa che ho sperimentato con l'inglese e lo spagnolo) è importante avere un ruolo attivo nell'apprendimento. In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.

I can do my best with students who have already started an italian class or worked with a professional teacher, and would like to improve by practising whit conversation what they studied with theory. I think my English is good enough to help my students when their Italian will need an helping hand, but i will always try to use italian the whole lesson. I am sure many people wants to know informations and curiosities about my country and i am always happy to let people know about my culture, and discuss with them every aspect of it. I like spontaneous conversation, according to your mood and the common interests we share, like friends relaxing and talking about everything.

Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in lingua e cultura italiane per stranieri presso l' università di Bologna. Adesso sto frequentando un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico. Mi piace spiegare, trovare modi diversi per trasmettere regole e contenuti linguistici e credo soprattutto che l'insegnamento sia un processo cooperativo che avviene tra insegnante e studenti.

Ho 3 anni di esperienza come insegnante di doposcuola e 1 anno e mezzo come insegnante di italiano per stranieri. Ho molta pazienza con i miei alunni e per me è una grande soddisfazione vederli migliorare man mano grazie all'impegno che entrambi mettiamo durante ogni lezione!!

Prima di essere un insegnante, sono una persona esattamente come te. Come te, ho dovuto anche io imparare una lingua nuova: so come ti senti e so che hai paura di sbagliare. Non ti preoccupare: è tutto normale. Capiremo insieme quali siano i tuoi obiettivi e il tuo punto di partenza e da lì costruiremo questa nuova lingua che hai scelto di imparare. Il mio obiettivo più grande come insegnante è sempre quello di regalare agli studenti l'abilità di essere sè stessi anche in un'altra lingua. As soon as I graduated, I started working in a language school. I have worked with people of all ages and of all levels and backgrounds, big groups, small groups and one-on-one. I can offer you my knowledge, 20 years of experience and a good will to help you in your learning journey. I like working with people who are dedicated to their goals and who find time to achieve them. I'm really happy when my students learn something new or improve their language skills and this requires seriousness from both (student's and teacher's) sides. However I like my lessons to be relaxed and friendly. Online teaching offers a lot of possibilities and I always implement new features I discover.

I'd like lessons to be fun as well as rewarding. In the next section I propose a way to organize our time but I'm open for any requests from students that wish to personalize their lessons.

I'm afraid I'm not the typical teacher. I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I am a motivating person in every aspect of my life and I’m sure I’ll encourage you to improve your Italian. We can talk about any topic you are interested in and focus on specific challenges you are facing.

I began teaching Italian and German in 2019 and is now my job. In March I did the CEDILS exam to be a certified teacher of Italian. My goal-oriented lessons focus on the goals of the students and on developing simultaneously the 4 skills of language learning: Listening , Speaking , Reading , and Writing. My students generally love that they can learn grammar, vocabulary and phrases in a relaxed and friendly setting.

I have experience as Italian Teacher and as English Teacher. In my last experience in Vietnam I understood that is important to start a good relationship with the students, sharing ideas, point of view, experiences and culture. Speak is the most important think once you are learning a new language, and even if is difficult at the beginning, I am here not only as teacher but also as a person who want to help you to improve a foreign language. Another important tips is to have fun while learning a new language so that you will remember the topic and the vocabulary easily and with a good memory.
