I like to create a relaxed atmosphere in order to put you at ease. During the first lesson I introduce myself and I ask many questions to identify all your needs in order to set up the perfect lesson for you! Every student has different goals so my method is based on flexibility. During the lesson I speak Italian as much as I can, slowly or very fast if you prefer, but if you need I can also use English. My ultimate goal is to help you understand my language and my culture in the most diverse and enjoyable way possible because I really love Italy and I consider myself very lucky to live here, and I wish to share all I know.

I will be a helpful, empathetic and friendly tutor. I have studied languages myself (English, Japanese and Spanish) and I know it can be exciting and difficult at the same time. For this reason, my classes will be relaxed and fun, so you can learn and challenge yourself without any pressure! Mistakes are welcome: remember that making mistakes is the best way to learn a new language!

In my studies, I have learned new tricks about learning and improving the comprehension of a language, method that we can use together to reach the level of proficiency you are aiming for. I am looking forward to seeing you, picking you up from where you are right now, and taking you further.

I am a patient, understanding and detail-oriented person; I always try to be as clear as possible so that my students can fully understand me. I always try to be positive and engaging: it is very important to put the student at ease if I want to involve him/her in the lesson, make him/her practice and thus make sure that he/she can really learn. Having had translation studies and linguistics at university I know very well how fundamental these aspects are in learning a language, therefore the translation of short sentences and the logical and grammatical analysis will be an important part of this path. Professional (I have got the certificate for teaching Italian to foreigners CEDILS by University of Venice Ca' Foscari), but also funny and engaging. My approach is "relaxing", I want to teach Italian in a "easy" way, depending on the level of the student. I use different materials (my own presentantions, pdf, audio, video, online exercises), and I put them at students' disposal. Especially for beginners, I think that grammar is fundamental but it mustn't be boring. I also like to talk about Italian history, culture and way of life. I speak a very good English, less good German and Spanish, but since the lessons will be mostly in Italian anyone is welcome.

As already mentioned, before moving to UK I earned a Bachelor's Degree in "Foreign Languages and Cultures" and a Master's Degree in "Literatures and Intercultural Translation" in English and Spanish languages. While I was studying in Italy I used to teach privately as well to high school kids, to help them improve their English/ Spanish skills.

I am very patient in my teaching style. I always try to make my lessons as fun and interesting as possible in order to have a good time together.

Non amo particolarmente i metodi di insegnamento tradizionali, per questo proverò a rendere il tuo apprendimento un po' più stimolante e originale. Le mie lezioni saranno informali, dinamiche e piene di riferimenti alla cultura e alla società italiana. So quanto sia difficile studiare un'altra lingua! Ecco perché sarò sempre disponibile per chiarimenti, risolvere dubbi e fare pratica con esercitazioni.

I've been teaching on italki since November 2016 and over the years I developed a very flexible method, which allowed me to teach to students of any level and with different goals, preferences and needs. During our lessons, I'll always try to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can feel at ease and have fun while learning. I usually conduct my lessons in Italian as much as I can, so you get used to it, but I can also use English if you like.

Attualmente, studio spagnolo e tengo ripetizioni di italiano a bambini e adolescenti. Potrò insegnarti la lingua con in maniera più tecnica, con esercizi di grammatica e sintassi o se preferisci, parlando di qualsiasi tema e lavorare sul vocabolario.

The first thing to keep in mind about me is: I'm your tutor, which means I'm not here to judge you, but to help you and guide you! I want you to feel at ease and most of all to enjoy our time together. As I see it, learning a foreign language is an experience, it's not only about reaching fluency but it's also about learning more about cultures, getting out of your comfort zone and expand your horizons.

I am a patient, sociable and curious person and also teacher, at least I have been told! What is important for me is that you feel comfortable and you are motivated to learn, I want that my students enjoy the classes and have fun, in this way learning become much easier! Two more things: *I can send you a placement level test when you book a lesson in order to prepare a perfect first lesson and consequently give you the proper material before as well. *Then, if you decide to continue learning with me, we can see together and structure a long-term program using my personal material or a specific manual for Italian learners.

Penso che la conversazione, l'ascolto e gli stimoli visivi siano delle componenti fondamentali per imparare una lingua. Per questo motivo sostengo anche l'Automatic Language Growth (ALG), un metodo di insegnamento alternativo che potremmo sperimentare insieme.

My classes are learner-centered and my role is that of a facilitator and guide during your language learning process.
