I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. I hold an MA in International Communication, an MA in Didactics, two BAs in Translating and Interpreting and a CELTA (Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults).

I like to listen just as I have no trouble telling and sharing my personal ideas and experiences. I am precise and I pay close attention to the individual training needs of the learner, committing myself to preparing material adapted to his needs from time to time.

Being a teacher for me means to transmit energy, passion and motivation to learn a new language. Essendo laureata in Comunicazione Linguistica e Interculturale all'Università di Bari conosco benissimo la difficoltà che uno studente può riscontrare nell'approcciarsi a una nuova lingua. Io stessa, nel mio viaggio di apprendimento dell'inglese, tedesco e francese, ho incontrato svariati problemi. Ma sono profondamente convinta che con le giuste strategie e metodi non esistano ostacoli insormontabili! Preparerò ogni lezione in base alle esigenze dei miei studenti (grammatica, conversazione, pronuncia, vocabolario, ecc.) cercando di colmare qualsiasi possibile debolezza e consolidando gli aspetti già ben sviluppati.

I have experience as Italian Teacher and as English Teacher. In my last experience in Vietnam I understood that is important to start a good relationship with the students, sharing ideas, point of view, experiences and culture. Speak is the most important think once you are learning a new language, and even if is difficult at the beginning, I am here not only as teacher but also as a person who want to help you to improve a foreign language. Another important tips is to have fun while learning a new language so that you will remember the topic and the vocabulary easily and with a good memory.

I have been a teacher of Italian to foreigners for about 10 years. It started as a great passion and then turned into a profession. I’m a teacher certified by the University for Foreigners of Siena (DITALS Certificate). I have taught in refugee centers to adults from different countries (English-speaking, French-speaking, Arabic-speaking) and with different levels of language. I have had experiences in schools for teenagers and in language workshops for children.

Finding myself in a foreign country, I learned that the best way to improve a language is TALKING, without any fear. I follow a communicative, student-centered approach. To me, it's really important that you feel comfortable and free to express yourself in Italian, no matter which is your level. Your needs and interests are the focus on which I will tailor the lessons. If you have studied italian before, I will send you a test before our first lesson to assess your level and tailor lessons on what you need most.

I have taught Italian and Latin in public schools in Italy for about ten years. Currently I teach mainly Italian for foreigners, in particular for foreign managers who need professional/business Italian courses for their companies' activity. I can also offer specialized Italian courses for doctors and lawyers. I still remember my first Italian lesson: it was amazing, because I immediately understood that I loved what I was doing, and time passed in a blink of an eye! I always do my best for every student and when I see that my students, lesson after lesson, become able to speak their target language and that they follow the courses with pleasure, it makes me love this work more and more.

I have lived in several foreign countries so I understand the difficulties in facing the study a new language. I have a lot of patience and I try to create a fun atmosphere so that the lesson becomes profitable and easy. I like to involve students and bring them to learn about Italian culture and traditions especially the gastronomic ones Ho vissuto in diversi paesi stranieri per cui capisco le difficoltà ad affrontare lo studio di una nuova lingua. Ho molta pazienza e cerco di creare un'atmosfera divertente in modo che la lezione risulti proficua e leggera. Mi piace coinvolgere gli studenti e portarli a conoscere la cultura e le tradizioni italiane soprattutto quelle gastronomiche.

First of all, I would say that I am very "kind" and flexible. I always try to adapt myself on my students' needs, and I think that it is very important to ask and know about my students' interests, hobbies, things they find very difficult when it comes to speaking and studying a new language and so on. I really care about my students and about their progress in learning. I am open to any kind of feedback and any kind of requests in order to make our lessons "better". For example, we could also try to learn a new language with songs!
