I'm not a big proponent of old-school style language teaching but rather like to introduce my students to new, innovative methods and figure out the one that works best for them.

* Communication centered lessons: free spirit, with correct grammar. * Textbook: I use BEGEGNUNGEN (A1, A2, B1) and ERKUNDUNGEN (B2, C1, C2) + A/B/C Grammatik * Google Docs: during lesson, I write down new vocabulary, expressions etc. in a shared google docs I adapt to my students: if we use a textbook or not, up to you. Some students prefer free style lessons, others prefer more guided ones. Conversation is usually: your thoughts and experiences. All lessons are 100% individual.

Bereits während des Studiums begann ich mit Abendkursen an der Volkshochschule, wo ich auf Niveaus von A1 bis B2 unterrichte. Spezialisiert habe ich mich dann auf die medizinische Fachsprache für Pflegekräfte und Mediziner und die Vorbereitung auf die Fachsprachprüfung (FSP), da mein zuerst erlernter Beruf Physiotherapeutin ist und ich daher mit der medizinischen Terminologie bestens vertraut bin.

I am here to help you to improve your language skills. I want to give you room to explore and improve the German language. I don't teach you German grammar but I am here to practice! In Germany, I studied Art, Theater and Biology to become a teacher for high school students in these subjects. I completed my second state exam and continued working at different schools with my wish to move abroad and make more experiences in living and teaching far away from my home. Right before I moved, I was working as a teacher for remedial education and particular in teaching German to children with migration background. I was able to find suitable teaching methods for the different types of learning and individual needs to achieve the learning goals with the students together. I am excited to continue teaching in this way and to get to know you.

I have more than 20 years teaching experience, manage a German language school and also teach at embassies, foundations and NGOs. I am passionate about teaching languages (German/English/French)

As someone who used to stutter and dislike languages (and especially the pesky grammar), getting into intense-self-studies to improve my English became my origin story. I worked as teacher for English in my hometown for 2 years afterward, after acquiring a C2 certificate from Cambridge. This encouraged me to also intensely study and re-fresh the German grammar, phonetics and teaching techniques (didactic) before starting to teach it online full-time. (it included a lot of head-shaking, and I’m a native) Through that, and my pursuit to master art I don’t believe in inherited talent, but pursued interest. Everyone can, through dedication, practice and fun, learn to speak a foreign language.

Although I am not a trained teacher, I can nevertheless help you learn German as a native-speaking tutor. Since I studied German studies for a few semesters and in my other study programmes I have also attended courses with didactic and pedagogical contents, this knowledge will definitely be of use to you. Everyone is invited to take part in my classes to improve their existing German language skills in a relaxed atmosphere together with me. Language lessons should be fun to motivate the language learner. * I am not accepting kids as my students * So, please feel free to try out my teaching in a trial lesson, and and when it suits, we can talk about many interesting topics.

I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. I am currently learning my third language. I really do understand how hard it can be to learn a new language, let alone to master it. I am a very relaxed teacher, I know from experience that the most effective way of learning is by enjoying the process and having fun! I've been teaching for 25 years. It's something that I've always loved. My students seem to like my classes a lot. I'm dynamic and playful but I'm also dedicated to my students learning something that will provide them with the tools to make their lives better.

I intend to keep my classes entertaining and practical since this is the way to learn the most as I’ve experienced myself. We'll work with interesting texts about a lot of topics and also practice through common conversations. Just studying grammar and doing text book exercises is not the focus of my classes.
